Last year, I purchased a Samsung A500 and a SnapDialer cord and used
it on a trip I took through Alabama (can you believe it worked
there??!?!) last fall. I have a wLAN at home, so I hadn't had reason
to try #777 until a few weeks ago when my router went down. I found
that it didn't seem to be working. Before, if I picked up my phone
and dialed #777, it would automatically launch my Vision home page.
If I dialed #777 through SnapDialer, and using the little
pinging-yahoo.com trick, I got a pretty good connection. Now when I
dial #777 on my handset, it rings and says "the number or code you are
dialing..." blah blah blah error.
Any ideas? Did Sprint finally "wise up" and shut this backdoor off?
Is something wrong with my service provisioning and/or phone? If so,
how do I call Sprint and tell them to "please fix my backdoor to the
Internet so I don't have to pay $100 a month for an unlimited
Connection card plan?"
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, direct to my e-mail if
possible.
Thanks!
