hi hi hi...!!!
You know how when you take a picture and you want to make it
into a Desktop 'ScreenSaver' and instead of filling the
screen,
it only takes up about 2/3's of the screen...!!!
i have MIRACULOUSLY ( how could i have done this...??? )
figured out how to do this...!
you know how you can go to the Pictures menu...
and then to Online pictures...
that ( FAWKING INCREDIBLY ) IS NOT...!!!...THE TRUE ONLINE
PICTURES REPOSITORY...!!!
Sprint is so Crazzzzzy...!!!
this is how you do it.
How To Move a Picture to The Full Screen
Take a Picture with the Cell Phone
Keep It
Go to Options
Upload
Upload This
[ Exit to Main Screen ]
[ Go to Web ]
[ Go to http://pictures.sprintpcs.com ]
[ Enter Phone Number ]
[ Enter PictureArea Password ] do you know what that is...???
ScrollDown to Submit
[ Find Picture in Uploaded File ]
ScrollDown to Menu
Download Picture back to your Cell Phone
Use
Assign
ScreenSaver
Save
NOT OOONNNLLLYYY does it fill the entire screen,
but it looks like ( ??? ) the picture is BIGGER than the
picture you took...
THAT IS; the picture you took, and can email to yourself,
has had the edges trimmed back a little... the screen saver
picture that this technique uses seems to 'recall' a wider,
taller picture...???
sproogles...

You really are taking the scenic route to get that picture back onto your
phone. Once you've uploaded it to your picture vault, just hit the back
button, till the three options of Camera, Picture Wallet, and Online
Pictures. Scroll down to Online Pictures, click OK, and you go right into
your vault to select a picture to download to your phone. No need to plug in
URLs, user names, telephone numbers or passwords.

i just tried this, after trying my old method, and
discovered that Sprint has closed down the ENTIRE picture
repository area...
Naturally... i suspect that they are busily filling in the
hole that this 'hack' allows...!
???
the trouble with going to the Online Pictures area, from the
Pictures menu, is that ( on my phone ) it doesn't have the
'download' selection...
i forget what the menu selections are right off the top of
my head, and since the whole site is 'down' i can't check it...
i'm pretty sure that it can't be done that way...
have you actually loaded a successful full screen picture to
the 'desktop' using that method...???

I have absolutely no clue what you are trying to say here. My picture vault
is up and running nicely, via accessing it through my phone. Are you talking
about accessing your picture vault through a computer or a phone. My
directions above were for accessing the vault with your phone.

It does on my phone. Once I access the picture vault by my phone, the last
picture uploaded shows up first. I scroll down and there is a download
option. If I choose to download that picture, it comes back to the phone and
put into the download section, and then into pictures. I can go into that
section and assign that picture to a phone book entry or make it a
screensaver.

If you want to transfer the picture in your vault to your computer, then all
you do is access the vault on line with your computer, plugging in the
necessary passwords. Once you are into your vault, find the picture you
want, click it once to increase the size, then right click on it, and "Save
Picture as" to your computer.

I don't get this "hack" thing, Bob, but I saw this last night around
4:10am. It is true. Sprint took down part of the online picture handling
system for maintainance. I could still upload pictures, but viewing my
online pictures did not work. This was, of course, a temporary
condition, and the error messages I got took pains to make that clear.

well isn't that the DARNDEST THING
it sounds like your Pictures / Online Pics ... area is the
area that i have to Web into...! my Pictures / Online Pics
area is a truncated abrev. of the big web site...
still though... it IS Awkward that you'd have to ( in both
versions ) to upload a picture to the web site, and then
download it back to the phone before it will fill the whole desktop...
another feature that would be fabulous in the computer
accessed version, of picture modifiers... would be increase
the pictures contrast...!

It can be reached directly @ https://pictures.sprintpcs.com/login.jsp . If
you have your computer set to save passwords, etc. It should show your name
in the top right section of the webpage.

See, here's what makes you sound confused. When you say desktop, that's
sounds like your computer monitor. If you mean the phone display, just say
phone display.

You can lighten or darken the picture, but no, you can't adjust the
contrast.

Well, there is a new firmware/software version, as listed on
http://www.sprintpcsinfo.com/modules...showpage&pid=9 .
1.116SP.
