Today, when using my Treo 600 a funny thing happened. I dialed a number and
when I hit "Dial" I immediately got a fast busy signal - then the phone
actually dialed the number. I tested it on a phone in my office, the Treo
gave me a fast busy ring but the phone in my office rang and the caller ID
was accurate. However, when I ansewered the call the Treo did not transmit
or receive any audio.
I don't think I tried placing a call to the cell phone, but I should have.
The phone was able to connect to the Internet without any problems.
The phone kept doing this until I turned wireless mode off and back on
again. After a few more phone calls I had the same problem all over again.
It hasn't happened since, but I haven't used the phone much since last
resetting wireless mode.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known bug? Any light you can shed
on this would be appreciated.

The phone is not supposed to work as a phone at all if you are in Data
mode, IIRC.

I haven't seen this. You ought to report it to PalmOne tech support.
Don't expect a response, though. This is an "incident" that they would
simply track in order to perceive a pattern. If they get enough similar
incidents, they might try to diagnose and fix it.
