The software on the site reads CD tracks, MP3, WAV, OGG, VOX (and numerous
others) files, as well as can record voice over the microphone. It then
converts it and sends to phone straight from the desktop.

You can mix audio snippets from all different MP3 files (or WAV or VOX or
etc.) into one ringer. It can be pretty useful sometimes.

if the ringer is to quiet or not too clear you can amplify it (to make it
louder), or apply a filter to make sound better. There is a lot of room for
experimentation.

oh, if you get that software, you also get the other app (sing-a-ringtone)
which can be a lot of fun.
