I have a Sanyo 8100 picture phone and need to purchase a new battery for it.
There are two types - 1400mAh and 1600mAh. The prices are very similar but
the 1600mAh last a little longer. What are the differences or why choose
one over the other? I don't want to damage the phone.
Thanks,
Brett

I'm not really sure
It would stand to reason that the higher the better, but to confuse the issue even more Radio Shack offers a 1650 battery. I asked a representative of Sanyo and he told me that he would have to look it up and get back with me. He thinks that higher translates to longer life and quicker charge ups and attributes the different types to the new 8200 series, and if he gets back with me I'll post his response.

As long as the battery manufacturer is reputable, no damage should happen to
the phone. As for any differences between the two batteries listed above,
the more the mAh, the thicker the battery.
