Hey gang-
Has anyone had success accessing eTrade via their Sprint Vision Phone?
According to the eTrade website, it says you can access them via any
Sprint web-enabled phone at www.etrade.com
Here's the full eTrade page that talks about it:
https://us.etrade.com/e/t/estation/help?id=1208000000
When I try to go to eTrade on my Samsung A680, I first get a message
that no CA certificate can be found, and do I want to proceed. I click
Okay. I then get a message that No Content is Available to be
displayed.
Anyone gotten eTrade to work on their web-enabled Sprint phones?
Thanks!
Dave

This needs to be reported to both E-Trade and to Sprint. Sprint is=20
*supposed* to setup an internal trouble ticket and notify eTrade. Then=20
it's up to eTrade to update their web site.

Thanks. I reported it last night to eTrade, and I'll post what I hear
back from them.
Do you by chance have an inside on who best to report this to at Sprint?
This is the kind of thing I don't want to waste reporting to someone who
won't even understand what I'm talking about because it's not on the
FAQs script.
I'm surprised this hasn't generated more comments in this newsgroup. I
searched the past 12 months history here and didn't seen any other
mention.

Report it to Vision tech support. I used to be that guy,=20
and there's a form we fill out for problems like this. =20
Creates a Sprint trouble ticket. That ticket only causes=20
Sprint to notify eTrade. This is something eTrade needs to=20
fix. But, at a minimum, it should get them talking about=20
it.

Here's the reply I got from eTrade:

Put the blame on E*Trade ... bastards. I have had a couple of problems
with them recently. I call them during business hours and my problem
requires a customer service representative. So, after going through all
of the menus, I get a message that they are having unusually high call
volume and that I MUST call back later. Then it hangs up on me! The
one time I did get through and they have 30 minute hold times. I tried
the webform route and they claim they will get back to me "within 1 to 3
business days". Yeah right! I am still waiting for that response. I
will be moving my accounts soon.
Whew ... sorry about the digression from previous scheduled Sprint PCS
discussion.
