sms text messaging sending multiple texts

recently, on my sanyo 8200 when ive been sending text messages to
my friend, they will receive multiple text messages of the same thing,
sometimes up to 7, which is a complete waste. This happens if I retry
to send a text message sometimes, but other times it does it even if it
works on the first try. I don't think it's their phone because theyve
switched services and it's happened on their older service too. It's a
complete waste and bothers the hell outta me...is anyone else having
this problem? anyone know how I can fix it? thanks...

Have you tried to report the problem to the Vision techs @ SPCS Cust Svc,
via *2? If you haven't, I'd suggest doing so.
