This just in:
Six gangland union fire fighters from the United States who decided to
assist the efforts in Thailand and tsunami survivors in exchange for the
good publicity in their attempts to stay out of prison for crimes they
arleady committed on the Internet, got their arses kicked by Thailand rescue
personnel.
The six union fire fighters, George W. Bush's favorites, hichted a ride to
Thailand illegally with the US military aiding the relief effort in
Thailand. The six reasoned they could look good doing it, take a vacation,
and show "them gooks" how tough American fire pukes are.
But when they arrived in Thailand, they were welcomed by the Thai people
with open arms. However, their racism and hatred soon shown through and they
began calling the Thai gooks and slants and made the mistake of saying this
to one man in Thai military who was half their size and unloading food.
To the American heroes suprpise, they didn't think the Thai man knew
English, the unarmed Thai soldier called the six American heroes on their
racial slurs and the six begang to assault him.
The Thai man then began to use his training and stomped all six union
American fire fighters into the ground single handedly without any support
from anyone. The US military Air Lift Command soldiers then intervened to
prevent the fire fighter racists from getting beaten any further.
Typical loud mouthed union fire fighters in America.
What kind of a man demands to be paid for performing a service that anyone
would do naturally when it was needed? Fire fighters perform rescues and put
out fires, activities that anyone would do naturally under the circumstances
and often do.
But fire fighters organized some time back, declared themselves a
profession, and then began to con beaurocrats into believing their new
professional service was necessary and should be at the citizen's ready at
all times.
So now, we have a profession called fire fighter, who, every once and a
while, drive a big truck, operate a water pump and big garden hose, and act
tough until they get stomped on by someone they bully.
Now we need professional Emergency Medical Technicians in society. But do we
really need to pay a group of gangland bums to sit around all day and night
long and wait for an emergency to occur when it is often the citizen on the
scene immediately that performs the rescue anyway?
What do fire fighters actually do that deserve their being paid both for
when they do fight a fire or respond to a rescue and when they do not?
Fire fighters should get paid only when they are needed. I believe this is
called the Vollunteer Fire Fighter, men and women ready to respond to an
emergency but don't get paid big money for waiting around for one to occur.
It was New York City that first invented the "professional fire fighter"
paying some bums to sit and around and wait for the next fire. That was in
the third largest city in the world on hundred years ago. Before that, fire
fighting was done for free as something anyone would do given the
circumstances.
After that, every bum who couldn't read or write, decided to organize a fire
department and we now have the International Association of Fire Fighters
all across America. And now they've taken their "profession" and claimed it
is a necessity with all sorts of stipulations, like how man men must be on
site before a rescue can begin.
How did American society get to the point where they believe they need to
pay men to save them?

Not only do fire fighters get paid well to perform a service that any
concerned citizen would do when the need presented itself, they get paid the
same to wait for something to happen.
They are well trained, aren't they?
That water pump is tough to turn on, it takes skill.
That axe takes a real professional to operate as its modern design is light
years ahead of its 1000 BC predecessor.
The ladder takes a genius to use as well.
And that big garden hose? They are really tricky for a drunken hero to
connect to a fire plug.
But I bet driving the suped up hotrod truck is fun and takes a real genius
and a crew. After all, one man has to drive, two men have to sit and look
backwards, and another man has to honk the horn.
All this for from starting wage of $30,000/yr plus another $15K in benefits
to upwards of $300,000 a year for certain Chief firemen.
