    Not all your information above is correct. What you describe above is what
    was called "Wireless Web" and was only available on 2G phones, i.e.: phones
    that are at least 2 years old by now. People that had the service, yours
    truly included could use our minutes and download at a whopping 14kbps.

    SPCS introduced Vision on the 3G phones, which has a burst rate of 144 kbps,
    and an average d/l speed ranging between 50 - 70 kbps. All of their coverage
    area, including affiliate markets have been converted to 3G. In saying that,
    if one wants to do "Wireless Web", it's still possible, however they have to
    have a pre 3G phone, and sign up for the option.
