Snap Sync has stopped recognizing my Sanyo 6200. I connect my phone to
my laptop and start up snap sync. The program hunts for my phone,
deosn't find anything then gives me a list of Com ports to selelct.
I've tried a few different com ports to no avail. Then it says it can't
find any phone and tells me to shut down.
I was thinking that the cable is somehow broken, but when I connect to
my laptop, there's now an error message on the Sanyo 6200, so the USB
cable is not completely disconnected. But on my desktop, the PC
recognizes that I've hooked something, but Snap Sync does not.
Any suggestions??

Could be you have a corrupted file. Have you tried uninstalling Snap Sync,
and then reinstalling it?

Microsoft activesync should be disabled before using snapsync. Do you have a
pocket pc or other device connected which synchronizes information?

Re: Snap Sync stopped working with Sanyo 6200
Well, I do have activesync on the laptop. but not on the desktop. As
for a corrupt file, the desktop was a fresh install, on a brand new
machine, no less. But I'll nuke activesync on the laptop and see what
happens.

I was looking at that model @ Best Buy this weekend. When you have a chance
how about putting together a review on what you like and dislike on the 325,
compared to your 6200.
Thanks,

Re: Snap Sync stopped working with Sanyo 6200
I pretty much like it all the way around. Good keypad. Texting is
definitely easier. LOVE the back key. it's in a much handier position
in the middle of the pad. VERY loud. Weight and size are good. I wish
it were a little thinner. Hate the basic ringtones and will be looking
for less obnoxious ones. Like the ability to program the little
joystick in the middle, described as "shortcuts" in the setup menu. Too
new to really assess the reception and battery life....What else???

I noticed it doesn't have a speakerphone. How's the vibrate mode? I didn't
pay attention to the camera functions at the store.
How are the pics taken with that phone?

Pics are OK. Handy if Lindsay Lohan starts dancing on the bar, but not
much else.
Vibrate mode is fine. the ringer is unusually loud. Annoyingly so when
it's on HIGH.
