SMS message call back number

When using e-mail to send an SMS message to a phone, how is the call back
number specified?

It isn't, since hte message didn't come from a phone.

You can, however, include the phone number in the text of your SMS. As
long as it's properly formatted (xxx-xxx-xxxx) most phones will
recognize it as a number that can be called.

That's true, Isaiah, but perhaps what Ron really wants to do
could be handled at messaging.sprintpcs.com,
which has a block for entering a callback number.

Actually we have a desktop application that sends a SMS message to a phone.
I was trying to make it easy for the people that get the messages to call
the right number, one does not always think straight in the middle of the
night. I will put the call back number in the message subject
