Sprint Phone usage on a Cruise?

Taking a Caribbean Cruise in 2 weeks. Will my phone work in these countries?
If not, what can you suggest I do to be able to use one on the trip?
Puerto Rico
St. Thomas, USVI
Grenada
Antigua
Dominican Republic
Barbados

Here's a suggestion....

Leave the cell phone behind (or at least turned off) and be blissfully out
of touch for the week.

I know that's a radical thought, but maybe it's time.

SprintPCS phone and vision will work in Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.

I was told by Sprint today that my tri-mode cell phone will work in all of
the places I'll visit, but with varying roam charges and LD charges
depending on the country. They said that I can dial 611 or *611 to find out
the charges before placing the call. Anybody have experience with this?
