hi all,
i'm new to sprint and have gotten into their fair and flexible plan for 3
pcs phones. i have yet to see this bill, but just called CS about a website
question and somehow got more confused about what i have existing on my
plan. here's what i have :
3 pcs phones, all pulling from a $70/mo for 800 minute bucket.
the 3rd phone gets hit with a $10/mo additional line charge
all phones have pcs to pcs FREE?
all phones have after 7pm for only $5? (not $5 for each phone "attachable"?)
F&CA roaming package on 1 phone for $5?
so my bill should be..... $90, but the rep said i was getting the F&CA plan
n/c for some weird reason?? so my bill is really going to be $85?
here's where the confusion began...the CS rep said there was a fair and
flexible america plan, that included 7pm calling, and F&CA for $80???? so
for me that would include a $10 additional line bringing the total to $90.
making the difference between these 2 plans $5, BUT with the F&FA plan i'd
have roaming capabilities on all 3 phones!?!?! she said they were $5
attachables which could be turned on and off at will?? but i thought she
just said it was part of the package?
see, i've confused you too by now!
any suggestions from folks already on the plan? AND how many other F&F plans
are there? anything that includes canada roaming?
tia,
parker

I have the same plan for two phones and it was my understanding the $5
for F&CA applies to both phones. The plan is new and I have yet to
use any roaming minutes so I've not put that to the test yet.
With the 7pm off peak start I have used it on both phones and it
works, the $5 fee includes both phones.

Re: questions about fair and flexible plans
PCS-to-PCS is free on the family plan. The $5 America fee applies to
all the phones on your plan, and ditto for the $5 7pm fee. So it's
$70+5+5+10=$90 for 3 phones on America and 7pm and PCS-to-PCS.
I don't know why the rep said you're getting America for free.
There's an add-on that give you a lower rate for calls from the US to
Canada, but nothing that I know of that gives a lower rate for calls
from Canada to Canada or Canada to the US.
I switched my 4 lines to the F&FAfF 800min plan, like yours. It's a
good fit for us.

Re: questions about fair and flexible plans
There were posts on Phonescoop that they were offering America free on all
plans in Philly and some Southern locations (as a test?). That may be why
her fee was just $85 and not $90.
