My wife is a teacher who needs to turn the phone off or to vibrate
during the school day. The problem is she doesnt use the phone every
day and therefore most days forgets to turn it on on her way home from
school.
I then try to reach her after school while she is driving home and I
always get voicemail because eiter she has it off or on vibrate in her
pocketbook.
Is there a phone that automaticly turns on/off vibrate mode based on
time? We were looking at getting new phones anyway..

Re: Vibrate or Ring based on time of day?
I have a Nokia 3588i which has timed profiles. You set one as the
default, then pick another to be timed. I've been playing with it
lately setting the silent as my main one during work hours and
switching to a ringer one during lunch. I am not sure which of the
other phones offered have that feature...

That's a female thing. Everytime I try to call my wife it is one of
those scenarios.

Heh, same for my wife. She is in meetings all day and keeps the
phone on vibrate. Then when she gets in her car to go home, she
forgets it's on vibrate, and I can't get through to her.

I don't think there's such a phone.
Make her write, 100 times on the blackboard,
"I won't forget my phone." "I won't forget my phone."
Maybe that'll help! <g>

Sanyo SCP-200
Has anyone gotten their hands on one of these yet? I'm looking to
replace my Sanyo SCP-4700, which is showing it's age now. I'm looking
for a flip phone that's as good as my old 4700 for voice calls. I only
use my cell phone for voice, so I don't care about, and am not
interested in paying for, any of the other options (camera, downloadable
ring-tones, etc.) that most new phones come with nowadays.
