    Steevo,

Keep bugging Tech Support. Open tickets if you need to. And I'd be happy to
help test things out when I'm down there, although I'm not down there real
often. I have a vested interest in seeing my phone work all over SoCal. :>

....Which would give your claim some credibility.

Have you talked to anyone at any of the other Sprint retail outlets down there?

Does Sprint have a technical support email address so that I can completely
document a problem and submit the problem directly to technical support?

    Thanks,

    That, I don't know.

Nor do I, but I'm guessing there is a specific address for coverage
problems. Try asking when sending an email to CS and see if you get any
    replies.

    Heh. They had to!

They were laughingstocks for having no service at all inside a store
adjacent to their sales office! It was obvious to their customers.

Took them a year or two to fix it as I recall.

I bet this area is very difficult and costly to put new cellsites up.
Probably much more demanding than most places.

Yeah, I went to the Sprint store in Orange. I got evasions, they said
there was nothing they could do. "Sprint has changed, 2 years ago
they would have bent over backwards to satisfy a customer. No more."

I agree with that, they were very helpful and conciliatory a couple
years ago. Now, it's a much worse deal than other carriers at least
    on equipment.

I would imagine. Northern Orange County is hilly as hell, worse than Apple
Valley even, which is hilly but has huge expanses of land between the hills.
The drive down the 57 from Claremont/Pomona to the 22 is absolutely gorgeous,
but you can see all of the hills from the freeway...

Call and talk to Tech Support (not Customer Service, ask them to transfer you).

Er. Call 888-211-4PCS or *2 and ask to transfer to Tech Support. I didn't mean
"call the store and ask for tech support"

Its not Sprint, its lousy Lucent/Nortel network equipment. You can
    thank the distinguished
Nobel Prize Winners of BELL LABS in NJ for your service.

Is that the Sprint store in Orange on Tustin/Meats or the newer one at
Chapman/Main? I live less than a mile from the one on Tustin/Meats but
they no longer do any type of phone servicing or software updates.

The Costco in Fullerton has weak coverage inside. But other than that
one most Costco's now have good service (except maybe the one in
    Tustin).

Tustin/meats. But I didn't do anything there except ask the sales
person for some sort of action to make me satisfied. They blew me
off, said they can't do anything except take my money.

This might be because all those peeps are on commission and they have
no interest in dealing with anyone who doesn't pay for things and sign
    new contracts.

The phone was "serviced" at Brea. It did no good, only bad.
