hi all,
can the f&F plan be set to a different minutes usage, or do they all start
at 800 minutes, and upcharge you for the tiers used?
for example, i'm at the 0-800 min usage of the F&F for $70, and i used 16xx
minutes this past month, so there was an upcharge for $30 for 1501-1700
tier. i'm wondering if i should just set my minutes usage to a higher scale,
or would it just be according to the tier pricing (1000 minutes usage=$10,
making total monthly charge $80)?
hope that made sense
thanks,
parker

They always start at the bottom of the tier you signed up for, and then
move up from there.

I would check the math and if it turns out you get a better deal on a
Free & Clear plan AND your minute usage is pretty stable, then I'd
switch to the appropriate F&C plan.

As far as I know, there is one more higher usage F&F plan:
2500 minutes for $125, $10 for each 200 minutes up to 3500 minutes total,
then 5c per minute over 3500 minutes.
Try this URL:
http://www.sprintpcs.com/common/popu...eFamilies.html
and see "Higher usage family option available. View details"
By my calculations, this $125 plan is $10 cheaper than the regular $70 F&F
plan, if you use more than 2500 minutes (or not, if they indeed charge in
increments of $10 while the other one charges per minute after 2000 minutes
-- you'd be saving $0-10, or $5 on average).
HTH,
Oleg
