I've tried everything. At last resort after trying to resolve myself,
called Sprint today. They were less than useless! Said it is a YAHOO
problem. Do they have a number to call Yahoo? NO. Fonts too big ONLY on
Yahoo sites: mail, finance, etc. Yes, I know there is supposed to be a way
to set this stuff "smaller" --- Browser is already set for smaller. Yahoo
site has only "bigger" for fonts. Yes, I tried making bigger, doesn't
change, and "smaller" doesn't thereafter appear. Anybody have a clue?
All worked FINE until about 6 weeks ago... no change of phone, services, or
    anything. Using Sanyo 8200.

    Thanks. George

I do not have your phone. I have a 4050, but at the yahoo portal it
seemed to take two gos in a direction to see any change either smaller
    or bigger.

I don't think you are scrolling down far enough. On my Sanyo 5300, accessing
Vision, then going to the Yahoo portal link, all I have to do is scroll down
past the calendar link to SETTINGS, to where I can enable graphics, larger
    fonts or smaller fonts.

Yes. I have Sanyo 8200, and Yahoo is working great, with small fonts.

To the OP: if you don't see "Smaller Fonts" in the Settings box at the
bottom of the main Yahoo page, reload the page (Menu:9). Check font size
in the browser settings (Menu:0:3:3 *in the browser*). Restart the
browser (Menu:0:1 in the browser). Make sure the phone's memory is not
full so that the browser can store a cookie (delete some pictures or
ring tones if you have many stored in the phone).

    HTH.

I tried all that, too- and like the OP, since about 6 weeks ago, I only
have big fonts, and only "Bigger Fonts" (and "Lite Graphics") in my menu.

    Dear Stud Muffin

Have you gotten your phone re programed? My daughter had to have her
phone re programed due to the fact it would not answer a call all the
time, locked up. Seemed to take care of the problem.
