How can I get this bad boy to take pictures in 640x480 resolution.
Regardless of what I set the settings to when I upload the pics they
always come out at very tiny resolutions.

    What am I doing wrong?

Do you mean they are too small when you view them in Picture Mail,
(pictures.sprintpcs.com) with a PC and browser?

Are you clicking "Large View", or "original image" in the Pictire Mail
    webpage?

I just got a LG PM-325, and the upload resolutions are working OK for me.
You might be mistakenly just looking at the thumbnails and missing that
    there are larger images there.

My Samsung A680's camera settings include a "digital zoom" setting that
simply crops out the outer pixels. You wind up with a picture that's
fewer pixels. However, if you close and restart the camera it returns
to no-zoom 640x480. Maybe your LG325's camera has something similar but
it's stuck on 'zoomed' to a lower resolution.

I love that phone but the pictures suck. Be sure you do not hit the right
hand mouse button or it will zoom in

Hmm, I'm starting to see what you mean.

When the pictures are saved "In Camera", the resolutions can be up to
640x480. Then if you do "save to phone", a thumbnail of 160x120 is
    created.

I've only had this phone for a few days, and this is my first camera
phone, so I don't yet know what is the difference between "in camera" and
"to phone", except that you can only save about 20 pics (high quality &
    640x480) "In Camera".
Until we learn otherwise, if you upload directly from "In Camera", you
    can preserve the larger resolution.

The documentation is sparse on this phone, so it looks like user trial and
error will have to lead to the answers. I just haven't had time to play
with it much, yet. Pic quailty is a little sucky, but by golly, this
    phone is tiny!

BTW, picturemail webpage lets you put cute little cartoon bubbles on the
    pics. Ha! ;-)

Thanks for the tip .... I'll give this a try.

Yeah, it's a nice form-factor. We used to have a pair of LG VX6000's
that we loved. My wife needed bluetooth so we went with this one (the
PM-325). We figured it's LG, and she should already know how to use
most of it. So far, aside from the camera, she seems quite happy.

I'll have to try that! :-)

I think MOE means the right-arrow side of the 4-way directional button.

    Thanks for the clarrification.
(Since this is my wife's phone I only get it 'part-time' ... usually
when I'm trying to solve some technical issue for her.) <groan>
