I'm using a Treo 650 on SprintPCS. I love the phone, but the size is
beginning to get in the way. I was wondering if there was a Smart Phone
that is comporable to the Motorola MPx220 Smart Phone on Cingular?

I would like a flip phone that has the ability to check POP email.

Another option a friend of mine uses on Cingular is using his Treo by day
and then swapping out the SIM card to his small flip phone by night and
weekend. You can do this option on SprintPCS because we don't have SIM
cards and to swap the phones on SprintPCS comes with a charge.

Sprint has the Samsung i600, which is pretty close to the MPx220, though
more expensive. It is also a compact flipphone that runs MS's Smartphone
    software.

If you love the PalmOS aspect of the Treo 650, then the Samsung i500 may be
more to your liking than the i600. The i500 is also a compact flip/clamshell
phone like the i600, but it runs PalmOS 4.1 instead. It has a touch screen
like the Treo650 but *unlike* the i600 or MPx220. Sprint recently stopped
carrying the i500, but there are still some available in stores and it is
readily available on the Internet, on ebay and some online outlets.

Both the i500 and i600 would easily handle POP email.
