Can't place bids on ebay from MM7400

Hello!

When I access ebay through my web-enabled phone (Sanyo MM7400/Sprint
Vision) I cannot place any bids. One of two things happens. Sometimes
a screen keeps popping up telling me to re-enter my bid. I seem to get
stuck in some kind of loop where I enter a bid and this screen pops
up. Other times, a screen pops up that says "Sorry--your buying
activity limit has been reached. Visit www.ebay.com on your PC for
details." When I go to my PC, I can bid without any problems. All the
other WAP site features seem to work.

I contacted ebay, and got a response that nothing is wrong with my
account, nothing is wrong with the ebay WAP site, and that I should be
able to bid from my phone with no problems. They instructed me to
contact Sprint to resolve the difficulty.

Has anybody run into this problem, and found a solution? Is anybody
able to successfully bid on ebay through a Vision phone, without the
ebay premium application? I thought I'd get some feedback before I
contact Sprint. Unfortunately, I fear that this is going to turn
into a finger-pointing exercise between Sprint and ebay...

On my Razr with a different provider, a URL that worked in the past,
suddenly quit working.

On a good designed web site, the server checks the browser and version
before proceeding. I checked with the website. They have decided to restrict
WAP connections to reduce chances of hacking. With the same cellphone, I can
use an external display and it works.

Try this eBay wap url http://wap2.bonfiremedia.com . It works for me on my
Treo.
