Posting 70 MPH on a two lane state highway with companies' and farm
house driveways, and cross farm to market roads with only astop sign is
insanity...but then, that's Texas.

Maybe I am being just over simplistic.. but if the signal is poor
anyway going through that area, and you are aware of it, why not just
shut the phone off while there and turn it back on where the coverage
is good? seems it would solve the problem with the detector.

What's wrong with you that you HAVE to post in HTML--and use a
nauseating sig to top it off? Grow up.

because my HTML and nauseating sig does not interfere with my cell phone.
nor are they likely to KILL.

First, at least you admit they are nauseating. Admission is always the
first step. Now grow up and stop posting like you are
thirteen-years-old.
Second, the irony here is over-the-top. You drive and talk on the
cellphone, hands free or not, and ***** about speeding? (Please, don't
start with the "I never do that" bull****.) Guess who's the bigger
danger on the road, Binky?

Re: Samsung A900 sets off radar detector
NEVER said I drive and talk on cell phone. NEVER do.
it should be against the law everywhere.
has been proven to cause loss of attention. causing accidents.
everyone who speeds should spend 1 day in jail for every mile over limit they are driving.

Please shut up. This is a group pertaining to cellphones and sprint
specifically. Not a "my views on traffic laws" group.

Not directed at you, specifically, Robin, but...
If y'all can't resist the temptation to feed the trolls, perhaps
learning how to use a killfile, so you can remove the temptation
from sight, might be in order?

Hey Robin,
Totally off this topic but,
are you familiar with ProTools? A musician?
If not, I know someone with the same name.

Re: Samsung A900 sets off radar detector - SOLVED
Well I fixed both of my complaints with the A900. At my expense of course
but gone are the false alerts on the V1 and I can now make calls at home
again. I ended up getting a new phone. The whole issue with the A900 was
it's lousy reception which kept it from working at home and led to the
output amp stressing and throwing out harmonics that set my radar detector
(thanks Glenn for the great technical explanation). I ended up with a LG
Fusic and so far no regrets. I can now make calls from inside my house and
even in the basement. No could do with the A900. And the Fusic does not set
of the radar detector. I'll miss the luscious screen of the A900 but that's
about it.
