Added the Phone as Modem option to my plan when i upgraded to the Treo
700p. Linked them together via Bluetooth and following posted instructions
online successfully used the phone (power-vision) as a modem and was able
to access the Internet on my Mac Book (OS X).

I was surprised how easy it all went.
Unfortunately have not been able to repeat the connection since.
I just continue to get a timeout message.

CS is obviously no help with this.
Any thoughts on how to trouble shoot it? Any possibility of getting the
monthly PAM charge reversed if I can't connect?

How do I narrow down whether it is a issue with my PowerBook, My Treo, or
    the SPCS Service account?

I can't help on the technical part because I am not a PowerBook expert but
why aren't you using a USB connector? Hold it, PowerBooks don't have USB,
    do they?

Well problem solved, unfortunately don't know how.
I just went through the Bluetooth setup again and did everything same as
before. It connected just fine. Speed test returned 387 down/ 116 up.

As to why I don't use the cable....
Well I use multiple Intel (windows) machines at work. I bought a docking
cradle. I also sync via my PC at home, that is an additional cable. I
don't always know when I would use the laptop, and I don't have a third
    cable.

Why don't I sync to my powerbook? Well it is long and involved, but at
work we use MeetingMaker (peoplecube) and it is not supported easily.
Plus for ym personal life I use Yahoo! and Google calendars, so again,
syncing from the Mac platform is not easy.

Anyway, it worked flawlessly yesterday afternoon, but my laptop batteries
were losing power. I am going to try it again later today and hopefully
have the same ease of use/success.
