#1 | | Guest | I just browsed through some specs of the 6800 on Sprint's website and
it only mentions the 6800 as having only 30 secs of video recording?
How can this be i wonder? Just to be sure, i go over to phonescoop.com
and it says the same thing. Only 30 secs of video recording is B.S !
I keep thinking that maybe they mean for video messaging, but the 6800
doesn't have MMS (as far as i know).
I don't know of any other Win Mobile camera phone that only does 30
secs of video. My Treo 700Wx records video as long as your memory card
can hold, and even my 650 did so too. Even phones several times cheaper
record video longer.
Can anyone confirm that the length of video is more than 30 secs (or at
least there's a solution around it), because if it is only 30 secs, i'm
holding off then. I'm already losing a 4gb SD card in my 700Wx to the
stupid micro SD nonsense anyway.

Oh, those terrible micro SD cards. But, why do you also tolerate SD? They're
too small too. So are "so called" compact flash cards. You need a phone with
a full size PCMCIA card slot! | | | |

#7 | | Guest | On my Sprint Mogul by HTC, a freshly formatted FAT32 2GB miniSD shows
28:33:10 of recording in the default M 176x144 mp4 format.
Recording a 1:01 clip results in a 0.97 MB mp4 file.
Remaining recording time displays as 28:32:18.
Bottom line, with NOTHING else on a 2GB minSD, expect 28 minutes of video
recording.
