Any experiences with Mogul 2.17 ROM?

Has anyone tried the new 2.17 ROM for the Mogul yet? I'm wondering whether
it finally solves the bluetooth compatability problems and/or keyboard
issue.

Some are happy with it.
Most are not.
It has been withdrawn, and 2.09 is back up in its place.
The biggest annoyance with 2.17 for me is that text messages display from
the bottom, and I have to manually scroll up to read the text itself.
BUT, if you hadn't already downloaded 2.17, the issue is moot, since it's no
longer officially available.

The ROM version you are thinking of was 2.16. 2.17 is supposed to be
the fix for 2.16 and is available from the HTC site:

YMMV, but 2.17 doesn't work for me, and yes, I also tried 2.16.
I don't think HTC is winning any fans by issuing and withdrawing ROMs.
AND posting different "official" ROMs.
BUT I'm glad they're leaving 2.17 up somewhere for others to try ;-)

The ROM version you are thinking of was 2.16. 2.17 is supposed to be
the fix for 2.16 and is available from the HTC site:

Ah, whoops -- you're right. When I last checked, that page had 2.17, but it
seems that they've withdrawn the update. Somewhat disappointing, but thanks
for the link.

Exactly my feelings as well Bob. The update didn't fix my BT problems, but I
am willing to try anything. It's a b**** beginning some games at the
beginning level again (Brain Evolution), which is the only major drawback to
installing a neutral rom upgrade I have experienced (three or four times).
