Is the MOTORAZR V3m cripled like Verizon phones are?

I know I could use my Bluetooth headset, but can I Bluetooth files such
as pictures and ringtones? If not, can I still use a tethered cable and
BitPim? What about using as a modem for occasional use I already have a
Sprint data card and a DLink DIR-450).

I'm seriously considering going back to Sprint (I left two years ago
after the Nextel merger resulted in them loosing a roaming partner and
leaving me phoneless in 60% of the area I work in, but that's been
    fixed).

Pricing between Sprint and Cingular, ...err (insert AT&T's name branding
of the week) is too close to make a difference. Its the fact I can
personalize the calling ID names from several phones that will be
compelling for me. A minor issue for some, but branding your calls with
your company name is more professional for my use.

And please don't start in with call quality (I really can't tell the
difference), nationwide footprint (I hardly ever leave a three county
area), cell breathing (there are less than a dozen traffic lights in the
thousand square mile county), or data speeds (we have EVDO-Rev A here).

It's a simple SEEM edit to enable the file transfer (Bluetooth and
    cable) if it's disabled.

    See "http://hacktherazr.com/guide.seem.edits.html"

The SERO pricing on Sprint is very good, I'd be surprised if AT&T can
    match it. See "http://delivery.sprint.com/m/p/sprint/epc/epclanding.asp"
    and "http://tinyurl.com/2fkgul".

Hey, if Sprint has good coverage in your area more power to you. In most
of California this is not the case. What is not clear is in what cases
Sprint allows roaming onto Verizon in areas where Sprint has a network
but no coverage. They don't let you roam in my area because Sprint has a
network, even though the coverage is very poor.

As if a retail store employee could give me their email addy as a
referral, hmmm...maybe they would if they get cash back for it; I could
use it as leverage to switch carriers.

Good point...if whatever carrier works for you where you need it the
    most - stay with it.

Why do you need to go to a retail store? Plenty of e-mail addresses on
    that web site.
