Thanks but the commas don't appear to create delays on the 755p.

On my Windows Mobile phone, a"p" is short (2 seconds?) pause. There's no
way to dial it from the phone keypad (which is no real hardship- during a
manually dialed call there's no reason to enter a pause!) but you can enter
it in a contact/phonebook entry ahead of time; i.e. "(800)555-1212ppp1" for
the number 800-555-1212 followed by a 6 second pause then a "1".
