Spent some time playing with Google Maps and Mogul GPS in ROM 3.16.651.0
over the weekend.

Satellite acquisition is immediate outside, or in car.
Inside one-story building, using Wi-Fi, takes 5-10 minutes.
Unable to use in multi-story buildings.

Pretty nifty.

I would be willing to try the ROM upgrade, but couldn't access a link to it
from the info posted previously. Is it still available, or do we know when
it will be "officially" accessible?

Yes that is a very good FAQ.

BTW now that it is March I hope I don't have to wait too much longer for the "Offical" release of the Mogul ROM since I'm ready and waiting for it.

With as much time as HTC has been taking I'd like to see the ROM upgrade also give us WM6.1.
