switching from sprint to alltel

I plan on ending my contract with sprint because service and reception is lousy. I live in a gray (roaming) area and plan to pay no ETF. Should I get the alltel plan and port 2 numbers to replace the ones i have now or wait until verifying that i dont HAVE to pay a cancellation fee? TIA

You will not be able to port from Sprint till you are paid up. IE: ETF. If your contract is not up you will have to pay to port. EFT is charged for each line. I went through it I know.

thats a great plan but don't count on it. might want to tough it out and just force roam on the phones if you dont wanna pay.

If you switch to alltel make sure you get the mycircle thing, it ends up saving you a lot of money. I have sprint's version(that supports one phone number), I use voicestick with it because they have a feature called the i2bridge, i set my VS number up as the 1 number I can call unlimited. This greatly lowers my overall bill and saves me a ton on international calling.
