Just got our shipment of Samsung I500's in. We'll have a new banner ad
    up there soon.

If you don't want to pay sales tax (we only have to charge it in Texas,
unlike Sprint), give us a try. Same day shipping if ordered by 3pm
    CST.

Don't forget to add shipping and that juicy $75 if you are not
activating a new account (which means all of you)...

Why $75 if not adding a new account?

I see where the Samsung I330 is $519.20 on your pages, and $199.99 at my
    local BestBuy.

    Re: I500 in Stock

I have mentioned this several times on this board. I'll try again.

Sprint only pays us a commission on activations of a new line of
service (i.e new phone number or account). They pay us nothing if sell
it without activating a new line of service. We actually lose money on
the device after credit card fees, ecommerce fees, transaction fees,
    etc.

Sprint pays us $150 for an activation (which we have to wait for for
45-60 days). We are basically splitting that with you if you don't
activate it. Instead of getting $150 from Sprint for an activation, we
get $75 from the customer so we're only making 1/2.

We didn't use to sell the devices at all without activation but we had
many requests for them even if they cost more.

We get alot of comments criticizing us for not wanting to lose money on
a sale. We wouldn't be in business long if we lost $50 a sale.

Hope this explains it clearly enough.

Larry, we understand that you have a business and need to make money to
keep afloat. It's too bad that once people who dont need to activate
see that extra $75 they will go to Sprint telesales, sprint stores, or
Best Buy. I feel for you as a fellow business owner.

isn't the 599 the same price that spring charges (when sprint has it)?
remind me what's the advantage of shopping at dream?

Ask any of our customers. Value added services. Same day shipping, no
tax (unless you're in Texas), great service (ever called Sprint
customer service or sales), someone knowledgable when you call, a real
person answers the phone (no Claire).

Again, it would be great if we could make money on the devices without
    requiring activation but we don't.
