Just got a sanyo 8100, love the phone, one small quirk. Anytime I get a
voicemail, it registers as a voice memo. Kind of cool because I do not have
to access VM, but I get no reference to it on the front phone LCD. To check
if I have meemo, I have to go to memo and play and check the list. Any
    clues?

    Re: Sanyo 8100 Voicemail

I believe what you are assuming to be voicemail is actually the "Call
Screening" feature of the 8100 at work. If turned on, this feature acts as
an answering machine and records messages as a 18-second voice memo, and is
completely different from the PCS Voicemail which you actually have to dial
in to check. I am not sure you want to use it all the time, since it uses up
your minutes whenever somebody calls and leaves a message, not to mention
using up precious memory on the phone.

Again, I've only had my 8100 for a week or so, and I only speak from my own
experience with it. I may be wrong.
