You are wrong. In fact, I have driven Interstate 68 many times, the
most recent being in October of '02 coming back from a wedding in the DC
area. Interstate 68 starts in the east at I-70 where it turns to go up
to Breezewood, Pennsylvania. 68 runs west from there andd parallels US 40
through western Maryland, and continues on into Morgantown, WV where it
dead-ends at Interstate 79. Go to randmcnally.com, MapQuest or any mapping
site, and pull up Morgantown, WV.
It most definitely does exist.
The hilarious thing is that it's called the National Highway (you'll
see signs stating that if you drive towards 68 on I-70) and it can't
be more than a few hundred miles long.

I agree. I am a former Sprint user also and like T-Mobile a lot. I
got my first taste of their customer service today (while changing
plans) and I was pleasantly surprised. I am a Verizon user for work
and I agree with previous posts that they have great coverage -- but
my T-Mobile is for personal use and in my area (San Francisco Bay
Area) the signal is great with T-Mobile (also tried in Las Vegas and
that was good too). If you have the money and travel a lot, Verizon
is the way to go. But if you need an almost local phone with some
travel, get the trial period from T-Mobile (14 days) and see how the
signal is in your area, if it's good, I say go for it!
I have an article on my blog with my experiences with different
service providers:

Re: Sprint v. T-Mobile
I called T Mobile to sign up today and to dump Sprint, but T Mobile informed
me they don't provide service to all of North Carolina. Sprint covers nearly
all of NC. What a major ****up on Tmobiles part, and a sale they dont get.
Sprint wont be getting any more of my money either though. Their customer
service is rotten, and their phone choices stink.

Re: Sprint v. T-Mobile
I had t-mobile in the sf bay area. STAY AWAY. I had no coverage in the
area , the csr are obnoxious and if they say one thing it is not what
the company will give.
I had to pay someone to take over my contract and go back to SPrint-
Where it rally works

Yep, I'm going to look into that. I hope I can get to their store before I
go away this weekend. I'll be driving from VA to IN and that would be the
perfect time to test it.

Sprint's phone choices stink? What phone are you looking for anyway?
Sprint has consistantly had some of the best phones available IMHO. They
lack Nokias, but then, I don't like Nokias, so it doesn't matter to me.

It's a historical thing. Back in the "old days" (three or four years
ago), BellSouth built a really great GSM system in NC & SC. None of
the other GSM carriers cared to compete with them but rather
concentrated on markets lacking GSM service. BellSouth-DCS and PacBell
became part of Cingular, while the other big GSM players merged into
T-Mobile. Cingular and T-Mobile have network sharing agreements in
some markets but not in the Carolinas. That's still Cingular's private
barony.

Won't happen. Sony Ericsson didn't sell CDMA handsets for years, then
got into CDMA for a year or two. Then, just recently, within the last few
months, they announced they're leaving the CDMA market again.
Nothing Sprint can do about it.

I was just at the BMW Motorcyclists get-together in Charleston. Full
