Thanks for calling me a ninth grader, just so you know I got 1550 on SAT
with perfect verbal score. Maybe I wrote it with few mistakes but I was
just mad. Laugh at me but now I have Verizon PTT that works
    unbelievable. Good luck with SPCS.

    5 years SPCS/ now Verizon

I'm sure you meant "works unbelievably well." BTW, I also got a perfect
verbal score on the SAT many years ago. Whoop-dee-do.

Boy, I wouldn't brag about a 1550 on the SAT too much. We have two
grandsons who are Mensa and don't have a practical bone in their body.
Being a brain doesn't make common sense.

If this is true, it doesn't say much for the value of the SATs.

It wasn't the typographical errors that we're troubled with, but,
rather, the abysmal attempt at putting together a syntactically
    correct sentence.

I'm always curious how users of other provider know how the customer service

Who knows what it is about this industry, but I've seen a lot of news
reports about very low customer satisfaction across the entire
    wireless market.

One thing to Sprint's credit -- and I do agree their customer support
and website both stink -- is that in the end, they have always managed
to fix the problem and make it right if I am persistent enough.

Then they need to fix the customer demand for Vision-as-a-modem, and number
portability fees. The way they fix the former is get rid of vision and to
fix the latter they need to tell their customers to find another carrier.
Since sprint ignores the customer and looks at their balance sheet, they
need to figure out that the customer IS the balance sheet before they dig
themselves a hole any deeper. It's already quite deep as it is.

Glad you're HAPPY. I'll stay with Sprint. Had them since 1998.
They serve my purpose just fine. You will find problems with any
of the carriers. Just pick the one that serves you're needs and
stick with them. There is no such thing as one being better
than the other, it's which one you like/serves you're needs that
makes them seem better to you.

    James

Every carrier's primary concern is their balance sheet.
The reason that Verizon is doing so well and SprintPCS
is doing so poorly is because they've chosen different
methods of trying to improve their balance sheets.

Verizon doesn't charge those onerous fees, but they
do often have slightly higher base rates.

I agree that the future doesn't look good for SPCS,
they will have to merge with another carrier or be
    taken over.

So very true. I could list a bunch of thing that made Verizon's CS in
    SoCal a nightmare.
