NEW YORK (AP) -- Some cell phone companies appear poised to profit off a
new fee that covers the cost of enabling customers to switch wireless
services without giving up their phone numbers.

Found this interesting ----"Sprint is just asking for regulation, and we'll
bring tougher regulation on them if they do things like this," said Sen.
Charles Schumer, D-New York.

Maybe we need to sit Schumer down with Bob Smith and let the explanation of
what is a rate increase develop? Schumer wouldn't stand a chance, of course,
but it might make for an interesting conversation.

Schumer's perception of this will have far more effect on SprintPCS in
the long run than Bob Smiths', regardless of which one of them is
correct.

Oh, I don't know --- Bob seems to think his points are pretty valid --- I
say let them duke it out and see which side has the righteous argument
