I doubt even that. It is not the position of an ISP to be a censor,
especially in newsgroups, which makes them liable for their content.
Specific complaints change this somewhat, but unless he is proppagating
virii, committing a criminal act, spamming or what have you, your complaints
will be quickly evaluated and sent to /dev/null.

Like either of you really wonder why he did so.

I find it amusing that when O/Siris presented information that someone
was forging his identity and attempting to pass "confidential" corporate
info to several websites, you were silent, but when someone merely swaps
a few headers around, you're ready to lynch them.

I didn't see the information O/Siris presented, only the assertion, so I didn't
see a need to interject. Forgery, regardless by whom or against whom, is a
serious crime that ruins lives. Your obviously cavalier attitude toward forgery
shows that *you* are part of the problem.

I posted this once, but you apparently didn't read it, so I have to post it
    again:

Immature, boorish, perhaps bigoted people were making fun of Phillipe's name.
Phillipe responded just as millions of American immigrants and their descendants
have done for generations: He came up with an Americanized name that people
would find more difficult to make fun of.

Changing one's name--and thereby giving up one's identity, in a certain
psychological sense--is painful but sometimes necessary in the face of others'
immaturity, stupidity, and bigotry. Both my parents had to change theirs.

No ... what he did, was spoof another ID and post here, as if it was a
different person, supporting his views ...

Oh, I read it. And we know that wasn't it. Further, he refers to his
alternate personality from his new one, and that shows he did it for a
completely different reason than you assert. And ... I don't think Richard
is more difficult than Phillipe to make fun of. It really is best to keep
quiet rather than to speak for other people, in this case, Phillipe.

Good for them. However, this scenario does NOT apply to Phillipe and you
    know it well.

Really, Justin? I haven't ever threatened to go crying to some
imaginary police state to accuse someone of the high crime of being a
jerk. I'm sure three quarters of this newsgroup would be locked up for
such an infraction if such an agency existed.

    No, that you aren't courteous.

Yeah, there's definitely a double standard here. Sprint employees/fans can
troll, but no one else can.

The only Troll I ever posted was the one I posted today to demonstrate
    what a Troll is.

Posting information found on the web is not trolling.
