Probably just an alarm, but when I just called in to switch to a F&CA
plan, (after spending no time on hold) I got a nice girl, who was
getting ready to make the change, and the alarm went off in the
background, VERY loud, so loud I could hear it. I could tell she was
getting flustered. So I just offered to call back, she thanked me.
I called back right away, went immediately through (assuming to another
service center and that one went on diversion), and a nice gentleman
made the change in no time, again without any hold time..
I like many have had mixed customer service experiences in the past.
But I have to say I've seen a dramatic improvement in the past year.
Almost getting back to the beginning (I've been with sprint since the
beginning) where they were 'customer advocates'.
Today, as in the last few times I've called (I don't generally have a
need to call more then 2-3 times a year), the people were nice, there
was no hold time to speak of (unlike 18months ago), and I genuinely felt
well taken care of.
Good Job guys.
If there was anything that disappointed me, was that I asked about
getting a 8pm start with the new F&CA plan, and the gentleman said he
didn't think it was possible, and I let it go. I doubt it would make a
difference for me anyway, I just thought it would be nice.

Those nice people lied to you. They've been snail mailing invitations to
8PM nights and weekends to many customers, as reported in this newsgroup
by folks who have received it.

Re: Fire at SprintPCS customer service Facility
Man, it's too early to have to fire up a real news reader just to add
one person to the kill file...
As I said he didn't think so, and I didn't care that much, so I let it
go. I definately got the impression he was willing to investigate it.
I am aware of the offers for 8pm N&W, but it's the combination that's in
question.
zeesh..

The question is, was that 8:00 PM N & W offer offered on the F&CA plans in
the mailer, or just the regular F & C plans.

I was offered the 8PM N&W if I extended for another year. I have the
regular F&C plan.

I haven't been following this newsgroup very long, but here's something I
can tell already that needs to be done, and fast.

Just for those actually interested in the truth, the reps did not lie to=20
Mr O'Brien. 8PM offers are not available for plans over 1100 minutes,=20

\Rob,
Plans over 1100 Minutes? which Minutes? I have 500 anytime, and 3000 N&W
Minutes, and they gave ME the 8:00pm offer.

Since the OP was speaking of plans by their Anytime minutes, I spoke the
same way. Sorry for the confusion. The way I was speaking, your plan would
be a 500 minute plan. You're right, though, that your plan would be called
a 3500 minute plan.
