Is it just me or is this forum getting out of control. It's more pissing
and moaning than I have ever seen.
Why don't Phillipe, Justin and Thomas (and who ever else) PM each other
with your name calling and "I am better than you" crap and leave the
forum clear for real people with real problems.

This one is getting filled up with useless arguments, as is the VZW
newsgroup, and alt.cellular has a bunch of morons posting inflammatory
messages about 9/11 and cross posting to several other newsgroups.

We would (and I have) take(n) the discussions to e-mail, but the people
complain when you send them private messages, come here and post the e-mails
instead of responding to them, etc. Then, there's about 5 people that swoop
in and piss and moan about the pissing and moaning.

Are you listening to yourself?
If people don't want to hear it, publicly, and refuse to answer, privately,
that maybe it's time to drop it?

Well, although they complain about it, they're still sending me e-mails.
Whoishere is the only one who asked me to not send private messages, then as
you can see, she came here and aired all of the private messages I sent
here, misquoting one of them.

And a note to Justin. It is very bad nettiquette to respond to a news
thread via email unless specifically asked to do so. Discussions are
supposed to remain in the context of their origination (which one reason
crossposting in most cases is not considered kindly of either).

Ok, so I'll ***** it out to you, Mr. Slow Learner:
The thread turned into a pissing match and went on. Bob suggested we take
it private or drop it. I said I would drop it. Rob and Whoishere
continuted to post. I e-mailed them.
Rob responded to both the baord and my e-mails. Whoishere came here and
posted the private messages I sent, complaining about the private e-mails.
Rob just kept on posting and responding to the e-mails.

Well, it seems like certain people invite it when I offer to drop a thread,
and they continute to post five or six times after that. I don't mind
giving someone the last word, but when they post 5 or 6 more posts after I
drop the issue, they should expect an e-mail, especially if they're posting
their e-mail on usenet. But, and you won't read this because you plunked
me, I thank you for the ettiquette. I'm fairly new to newsgroups and I've
had several people e-mail me without asking me, so I assumed it was alright
to do so when people don't specifically request no e-mails, which I respect.

What all this means is that no one wants to talk about it, or see these
damned arguements that you and Phillippe like to instigate in this
newsgroup, and some people don't want to get email either ...

No offense, but I dropped it after you suggested it be dropped. The fact
that they continued to post means that they apparently DID want to discuss
it further. If Whoishere didn't want to discuss it further, then why did
he/she keep posting?
I didn't instigate all of these arguements. I just don't roll over and play
dead after I drop it and they keep posting. Sorry. I didn't instigage the
arguement about the Sanyo 8100's. Rob did. Go lecture him.

<SMACK!>
You just don't get it, do you?
Have you ever heard the saying, "It takes two to tango?"
If you don't respond, IT WILL STOP!

And all the smacking going on. No one bothered to smack Rob when he posted
six posts after I agreed to drop it. Again, go lecture Rob.

Bob, I'm glad you have the patience to *keep on* *****ing it out to the =

I'll confess I took the easy, "plonk" path a long time ago.
