Guess what I just canceled SPCS for pooling charges and u know why I did
it cause i wanted to change both of my phones and when I called they
said that I can get $100 on purchase of next phone. I went to store and
they had like 20 people for CS, 2 reps CS, AND 3 REPS SELLING NEW
PHONES. What the hell I come there to subsribe to service and see line
of 20 people for CS and I'll think it will be me soon, figuratevly
speaking. I called SPCS he said go online and buy a new phone. I tried
but it didn't work, I called SPCS again, and rep said that I don't have
any credits featuring a purchase of a new phone I was like what.
Superviser please. She is like U have a family plan and i will give u a
credit on one phone but not another, i've been with SPCS for 5 years on
both phones and she says no to me I talked to her for another 5 min and
then I broad Pooling thing and canceled based on that with NO
CANCELATION FEE.
Now I don't know what I'm gonna do Verizon PTT maybe or Nextel. More
likely Verizon.
Now everyone can
cancel even new custumers because fee is illegal that's what she told
me. Good luck everyone It was pleasure talking to u guys but I can't
take it anymore ( over last 2 months I reffered 5 people to SPCS and
that's WHAT I GOT FOR IT!!!

Granted SprintPCS phone reps and store reps mostly suck, but if you ever
read alt.cellular.verizon the folks over there have all the same kinds
of complaints seen here. The grass is just as brown over there,
with Verizon users quitting and coming to Sprint.

... except at Nextel Communications, guaranteers of high-quality sass
and hardcore Awful Atttitude purveyors since 1993.
Many thanks to George Sieport for his twenty-one line run-on sentence.

Who knows what it is about this industry, but I've seen a lot of news
reports about very low customer satisfaction across the entire
wireless market.
One thing to Sprint's credit -- and I do agree their customer support
and website both stink -- is that in the end, they have always managed
to fix the problem and make it right if I am persistent enough.

I'm always curious how users of other provider know how the customer service
(and coverage, phone qulaity etc) is on another provider without using them.

Then they need to fix the customer demand for Vision-as-a-modem, and number
portability fees. The way they fix the former is get rid of vision and to
fix the latter they need to tell their customers to find another carrier.
Since sprint ignores the customer and looks at their balance sheet, they
need to figure out that the customer IS the balance sheet before they dig
themselves a hole any deeper. It's already quite deep as it is.

Every carrier's primary concern is their balance sheet.
The reason that Verizon is doing so well and SprintPCS
is doing so poorly is because they've chosen different
methods of trying to improve their balance sheets.
Verizon doesn't charge those onerous fees, but they
do often have slightly higher base rates.
I agree that the future doesn't look good for SPCS,
they will have to merge with another carrier or be
taken over.
