You know, it really shouldn't be a reflection on Sprint, in 99% of the
cases. I, too, just started posting a few weeks ago. I had posted through
google maybe ten times before that in the last few years. I probably would
have had two or three posts total in this forum were it not for the
Nitpickers. They complain about provoking people, yet they provoke as well.
They nitpick so they can call someone a liar. They but in some posts, yet
demand to be asked to discuss others. They act all "Holier than Thou" in
one post, then they're name calling in the next.
Soon I'll be done posting in this newsgroup, as I will be rid of Sprint and
will have no need to find out what secret key sequence on my 8100 operates
my garage door. But the bickering will remain. Why? Because of the
Nitpickers. They secretly love the bickering and provoking and work
tirelessly to make it happen. And admittedly, a good debate is fun. But
they seem to have little capacity for actual debate. It usually consists of
some word twisting or fact fabrication and then a plonk. Technical issues
get resolved in a few posts, but the bickering posts go on and on and on.
The sentiment seems to be in favor of the pro-Sprint folks, and apparently
some of these people take it very personally when one is critical of Sprint.
This is "their" domain. They work for Sprint or have been a customer of
Sprint for XX years, and they know everything. It's their life, to come
here and post. To be well thought of in the forum. To be the big man.
People with problems with Sprint interrupt their norm. They are forced to
face the fact that someone can be unhappy with Sprint and has posted their
troubles. This causes them to nitpick and make excuses for Sprint. They
nitpick everything, no matter what the topic. It's their nature. And
posting here for a while teaches you more about human nature than Sprint's
services.
That said, I'd like to honor the following Nitpickers, for their faithful
and unwavering service in keeping the forum exciting and emotional, if not
50% useless:
Rob, loyal and loving employee of Sprint
Tom Veldaplunk
Bob "the ****" Smith
Isaiah wish I could grow a Beard
Lawrence Gassier
Honorable Mentions go to:
Larry Thomas
TXgrntx
Orac the Mysterious
Brian Tampon (who knows a douchebag when he plonks one)
I was going to save this for my goodbye post, but what the hell, I'll
probably stick around for a few days (I can hear those sighs of relief,
Rob). I love you guys. Well, ok, not really.

Obviously some have a lot invested with the fact they picked a Sprint
phone and service, and can't bring themselves to face the fact that
maybe they made a mistake, that SprintPCS customer service is
problematic, and they are likely to have grief if they ever need to deal
with SprintPCS customer service. It's called denial.

When, EXACTLY, is "soon", Justin? You've been using that for over a month.
How 'bout a date now?
Nah, that would be something factual, and you don't go there.

How come Rob is the ONLY one that doesn't know Justin is waiting to make sure
his next bill is zeroed out as promised. Could it be because he is trolling?

While he waits for his bill, why does he have to interject into every thread
and bad mouth sprint. Especially if it turns out his bill is zero'd and he
gets exactly what he wanted. Is it necessary to torture the rest of us with
his fud?

I patiently put Tom's with your utter crap when I first posted here. The

Either that or he's a moderator wannabe for
alt.cellular.sprintpcs.apologists
If some of the Trolling apologists would leave you alone, you wouldn't
have those outrageous posts to repond to. Maybe they just like to find
their name in Google. | | | |

You are not the final expert on any subject you chose, nor am I. Don't
get so worked up about pissing off so many people. Life is short, be
happy not argumentive.

My goal wasn't to piss people off. I supose I should take no offense at
people calling me a liar. Especially people of such minimal mental capacity
as Rob.
I responded to his accusation that I am a liar, and now I'm labeled a troll.
Go figure. I posted a post about my experience, Tom and Rob and TXgrntx
started in on the accusations and silliness. I suppose I should have just
ignored them from the beginning, but I didn't.
All I was trying to do was get them to have a discussion about why they
thought I lied, which they couldn't respond. Nor could Rob respond with
anything but:
"blah blah blah liar blah blah fabrication blah blah blah reinventing
history blah blah blah twisting words blah blah blah"
He made assertions, I wanted some substance, which he could not provide.
Sorry, if I've pissed people off, and to some, I do apologize, but not to
Rob, Bob, Tom, or Txgrntx. SprintPCS Tech was very helpful. Had more
people responded in his manner, I wouldn't be here now.
I have a little more pride than to allow some halfwit to accuse me of lying
without backing up the accusations. I asked Rob specific questions, which
he repeatedly refused to answer, yet still maintained I was/am a liar. And
I'm the troll.
Ok. Whatever. | | | |
