Good point. The 7PM option, where it's available, *can* be placed on=20
    F&CA. That isn't a separate plan, like the 8PM offering. it's a $7=20
    addon.

    Re: Analog Roaming minutes

8PM is more of a convience more then anything to me, it is not critical.
The 9pm start really puts a limited time frame on when you can use your
"unlimited" nights. What good are the unlimited nights if there isn't any
time to take advantage of them? I have not racked up anything significant
with analog minutes, but the fact that I can't use the phone if I so desire
says something. With Verizon, if one tower goes down, you are normally free
to roam on whatever other tower is in the area free of charge. With Sprint,
you either deal without the phone or pay roaming charges. When the plans
are similiar in cost/minutes, shouldn't we be expecting similiar service
    from both providers?

I think I may just wait till November rolls around and see what special
offeres are given (with sprint and other providers). Since I am not in a
contract currently, it is probably best to wait it out and see what will be
offered down the road instead of jumping on the 50 analog minutes (and be in
    another contract).

As for the towers..... in one month a few months back it was down for at
least 5 days. Once for 3 days, the other for 2. This has happened before as
well, thi is just an example. When I can visually see the tower from my
house, reception should not be the issue. I was told by cs that both phones
in my house hold needed to have their software upgraded and that is why I
wasn't recieving service... funny how I never had the software upgraded and
the service magically starts working again (3 days later) or if I drive 3
miles down the road to where another tower is I receive service....hmmmm..

I think Bob already asked what I was going to. Is 8PM really *that*
critical to your minutes? If it is, then by all means keep it.
unfortunately, the roaming "bucket" you were offered is the only option,
and it won't include long distance.

How many minutes have you been charged for roaming/LD in any given
month? Is it pretty regular? I mean, I know you say it's not *common*,
but you appear to be saying it's frequent enough to be an ongoing
    concern? How ongoing is it?

But can you get a F&CA plan on retention?

I suppose. That's not a department for which I've been trained, so I=20
don't know all the plans they have available to them.
