activating a new line of service (new phone number & plan) or replacing
an existing phone keeping the same number.

The $599.95 price requires activation of a new line of service. This
can be a new account or adding a new line of service (phone
number/plan) to an existing account.

The $674.95 price is if you are simply replacing an existing phone
keeping the same phone number and plan.
