Hey O/Siris I have been seeing this on most of your psot, and have been
curious as to what it is.. but at the end of every line there is an
=20?? What is it.. I am viewing the group through phonescoop, so I dont
know what it is..

I think it's the way Gravity (my newsreader) breaks lines. I'm trying=20
to find out what I can do about it. The company that created it is no=20
longer in the business, and people who still provide it are allowed, but=20
unofficial.

I don't see how Sprint could tell a TELNET, FTP, HTTP or SMTP
connection that originates from a third party Palm app, versus a
third party Palm app just passing on the same packets that originated
instead from a laptop and are just gatewayed onto Vision via a
suitable third party Palm app. That is, just avoid using the Hayes
modem interface portion of the Smartphone and setup a custom Palm
network app that talks to the laptop using whatever mutually
agreeable protocol (PPP, SLIP, whatever).

They could if the phones, including PDA's, encapsulate the packets in=20
some proprietary way, though.
I think. Seems to me you're right with PDA's. Probably easier to see=20
with the "pure" phones.
