Give me some feedback on which Sprint has the best reception. I
currently have an LG5250 and appx 5 miles from service tower and I get a
weak signal. My sons Sanyo 4700 is better but I would like additional
info before I switch phones. I don't need all the extras the new phones
have, just good reception.

The oull out antenna has no effect on 1900Mhz CDMA that SprintPCS uses, it is
for roaming at 800 MHz.
The Sanyo 4700 and 4900 have got good remarks on reception (and their speaker
phones) but are both discontinued now. Ebay or some radio Shacks may provide a
source for new Sanyo 4900s.

NOT TRUE! The 3570 is a 1900 MHz only version of the 3585/3585i and
it has a pull out antenna.
Use of the pull out antenna can improve battery life by allowing the
phone to use less power.

Re: Need Feedback On Reception
You are right. Like I posted before, I have had four different
models of phones from four different manufacturers, all of them 1900 Mhz
only and all had extendable antennas.
