Re: Need to buy a Kyocera 6035 phone

Yeah...with modern electronics and the high cost of labor in the U.S. it
doesn't make money sense to pay anyone to fix most electronics. (But not
    so good for the environment...)

Do a google search like "cleaning 6035" or "disasssemle 6035" or
    actually...

Now that I think about it...I found the info on by going to:

    http://www.smartphonesource.com/vbulletin/index.php

and doing a search there on "disassemble 6035" or something like that...

Anyone will just a little experience should be able to take it about,
clean the mike, or look for lose connections, and put it back together
again. If as you said, the phone is useless now, you don't have much to
lose (of course back up the PDA part first!)

    Good luck...

This exact thing happened to me too... mike started to degrade, then I
noticed the screws were loose, so I tightened them and voila, mike is
fine again and people can hear me...

as far as your situation, if you can't fix your 6035 so easily, you should be
able to find a cheapo phone on ebay for < $20. I've seen Sprint 2035's
    go for $7.

You might also consider getting your phone repaired. Kyocera replaced the
touchscreen in my phone for $60 (including return shipping). This was
cheaper than an eBay replacement and also allowed me to avoid any
activation fees or other uncertainties. Call Kyocera Wireless at 1 800-
    349-4478.
