I do not speak for Sprint. But the following news story does:

Sprint announces $1 Billion in annual cuts, layoffs to be announced in
    December.
Merry Christmas all you SprintPCS employees.

Will Rob get laid off? I'd hate to think that such a valuable source of
Sprint diatribe and drivel could lose his job.

Ideally a company would get smart and end up with fewer layers of
management between the President and the lowest *2 person. 5 should be
maximum. I don't know what it is now, but likely much more than the
    ideal of 5.

On the other hand they might keep most of the middle management paper
shufflers and reduce the number of worker-bees like Rob, or out source
some support to India like Earthlink has done.

The article says Sprint currently has 70,000 employees. $1 billion if
most of the cuts come at the expense of employees could represent as
    many as 10,000 "layoffs". OUCH

It doesn't say when they are going to do layoffs? It mentions December
as a stock holder meeting for a progress report.

There's a name for this phenomenom.

Not being profittable, reorganizations, major budget slashings, etc

    It's called:

A DEATH SPIRAL. Meanwhile, the man reponsible for these problems is given a
    promotion.

Justin, I sided with you on your original (legitimate) complaint about
Sprint screwing you, but we all already know how you feel about Rob and
this crack was pointless. It doesn't tell us anything new, and it doesn't
contribute to the thread. And between you and Rob and Phillipe, you've
driven the signal:noise ratio in this newsgroup way down. I'm tired of
listening to this crap. Cut it out.

Oh alright. I'll try to keep my Rob posts limited to replies to his drivel
    only.

It's entertaining, in a "Freddy vs Jason" kind of way, to see just how=20

Ah, yes. But a mere couple of clicks and he's gone again.
His frequent name-changing tells me he hates not being heard.
    Don't feed the puerile trolls.

Unfortunately, the filtering capabilities of OE are limitted, so I have to
constant add to the now rather large list of email addresses dedicated
completely to that troll. I just wish he would grow up and leave people
    alone.

Well if everyone stopped talking to him we probably wouldn't hear him

A truthful news story is not a troll. Sprint being in bad shape
apparnetly, is something you'd rather distract people's attention from.

I have been trying that. But all his crap keeps showing up in replies to
his posts ... or he changes his name perpetually.
