This has really gone on long enough. I am thanking whatever diety that
is out there that I do not subscribe to the Usenet via email, and I only
post though Phonescoop.
Tonight, when I came home to check up on the posts of the day, I had to
go though 5 pages of posts (yes, thats 150 posts), and most of it was
name calling, insuilting, flaming, and completely off topic.
Yet, to find those 2-5 posts per page to see which ones were not
involved in the mud slinging, I had to read though them all.
I'm tired of it, and its sad to say that its not getting out of hand, it
is out of hand.
I'm tired of people not having the "netiquette" to say "Hey, this is off
topic". I don't want to read about people's pissing contests, nor do I
feel I should have to. I'm also tired of people changing their name
consistently.
I'm proposing a test to see who is a mature adult here.
If you are initiating an off topic flame war, or see that a thread is
going that way, please, for the love of whatever, change the subject,
even if you just add an "OT" (Off-Topic), that why, we'll know what to
avoid. If a subject strays, change the subject (for example, "New Area
codes in NJ (WAS: No numbers in 201?).
Please do this for the people who just don't want to read about your
squabbles.
I'm not taking sides, I'm just asking for the consideration for everyone
else who doesn't want to read and / or get involved.
Thank you.

Re: Flame wars, insults, and squabbling..
I agree. I only here to help those in need. I work for sprint and am
doing as much as i can. There is no way that i can read through
hundreds of posts per day. Any one who has a legitimate question can
feel free to post it or email it to me at [email protected] ! I
would love to help any one or try to share any information that i have.
Because of my job i have connections with many people that work for
sprint. If i don't know the answer, they certainly do.
And no I am not going to just post all the information i have because it
will takes years to read. Ask a question and i will do my best to
answer!

No problem. I'm done with Justin until the day he decides to start=20
conversing instead of trying to "get" me, or Sprint, or whatever subject=20

That would be a welcome change, since it was always you trying to get him, like
making up a new price for the Sanyo 8100.

Yeah, and I suppose that's why you went to the ATTWS board 18 minutes after
this post to continue the bickering. I've yet to see you "discuss" the
radio frequency issue. You simply post a one liner saying I'm wrong, throw
in a scientific word or two, and that's supposed to be discussion.

Yeah, I've had my run-ins with him, too. And I'll be the first to admit
that I enjoy poking a lot of the company zealots on some of the groups
(I really haven't had much occassion here- Sprint intrigues me more than
most from a corporate perspective). But unlike most of the trolls,
I'll at least attempt to back any claims up with verifiable facts, and
not just random accusations (unless I am expressing an opinion, which I
usually state right up front). My problem is when the independent facts
are dismissed as flase or biased- that's when the sword comes out and
all bets are off.

Yes, you and I have experienced each others posting styles a while back : )
Nice to see I'm not the only one who sees that Rob can't back up his drivel.
