    Just read a news story that adds a whole new facet to number portability.
    The baby Bells don't like it, but FCC basically said "Tough".

    As of November 24, you can port your home landline number to a cell.
    or
    You can Port your cell phone number to a wired landline !

    I would, except I'm required to have a landline to get dsl.

    In my area RoadRunbner service makes Sprint look like the gold standard.
