That's really nice. I hope someone you love loses their job to
outsourcing like this and they starve to death living on a sewer grate
    in the freezong cold.

They hold a degree? Where did you get this information? Jobs are
being outsourced to places like India where the average pay is one
tenth of what it is here. That is the only reason for it. Companies
are more than willing to let you deal with broken English and
voicemail menu's if it saves them money.

I'm not living on a sewer grate and it doesn't get real cold here in
Florida but I've had to fall back on a previous career due to IT
outsourcing. Still looking for a job but not willing to go back to 27K
    a year to get one.

That's nice, but won't help if you can't understand the thick accent.

I'd rather talk to somebody whose English I understand. The amount of
knowledge required to work in a call center can easily be picked up by a
high school graduate in a few months of training and OJT.
Besides, I'd rather have the young man down the block be employed
    than live off taxpayer's welfare.

Uhhh, no it isn't. Two separate companies that have marketing agreements
with each other. Earthlink has marketing agreements with Verizon Wireless as
    well.
