I recently got a samsung i500. I have tried without success to sync
it to my PC which uses palmdesk top and windows XP pro. I use to use
a Handspring Neo which sync'd fine to the PC. Can anyone give me some
direction?
What I'd reall ylike to do is sync to my Apple Powerbook. Has anyone
ever done this suddecfully? I'd love to talk to you if you have.
thanks in advance

A month ago someone posted that for a Macintosh you just need:
"Palm Desktop, iSync and the iSync palm
conduit." latest versions of all.
You may need to plug the USB cable directly to the Mac rather than a hub
or keyboard. Unplug and replug if it doesn't work to allow the Mac
another chance to "fiund" it.

Go to My Computer - C Drive - Program Files - Palm - find your folder
(usually first initial and last name) - Backup folder. Delete
everything out of the backup folder. Then it should sync. All third
party programs will have to be reinstalled. To make this easy,
instead of deleting the contents, move them to a new folder named old
or something else. You can then use the install command and search to
this folder and reinstall easily.

Re: i500 syncing
Tom - I have sucessfully sync'd my Apple Titanium Powerbook (550mhz G4
processor, OS 10.2.8) with the i500 since the i500 was first available. It
worked out of the box (although it is a bit fussy). Feel free to email me
([email protected]) if it isn't working for you.
