p300 & 6400

Was wondering about opinions on the hitachi p300 and sanyo 6400.
I'm probably going to get one of the two for my daughter.
I know they're about discontinued,and may not be the latest and greatest.
The 300 I saw for $150,and the 6400 $129,which I thought was a bit steep
for a soon to be discontinued phone.

I've owned both. The Hitachi P300 is a much better phone. The Sanyo
6400 is unstable and has moderate to poor reception. The P300 has
excellent reception even though it can't roam, it's still holds a
Sprint signal better than the 6400.

Bottom line: Get the P300, and forget the 6400.

The 6400 has been discontinued for about 7 weeks now.

Actually, the last day you could order it was the 26th of this month.
