    An observation:

If PCS fails to meet their subsciber numbers for the rest of the year, I say
they should take a good, long look at the behavior and attitude of their
own employess on this NG. Besides the flow of guesses and theories from
these folks (ever heard the phrase "I don't know"?), the tone of posts
between each other and other posters do not speak well of the Company. And
I don't know if it an ego problem, or some sense of saving the world that
causes all of the poting traffic, but as a non-PCS user who reads this
group, I would never consider using PCS as a result of the totally
unprofessional attitude these employess take when posting to a public forum
such as this. Remember- no one forces you to identify yourself as an
employee. You do it of your own free will, and I'm sure that Sprint would
want you to act professionally and give accurate information when talking
as an employee- especially those of you posting from the comfort of your
desk at work. Here's something to consider- could it be that someone might
complain to Sprint about misinformation they receive on this NG? Is that
the type of job security you're looking for? Why don't you all just stick
to known facts- no guesses, no rumors, and above all, no fighting amongst
yourselves. You're really making the Company look bad.

I find the "sprint employee's" for the most part very helpful--those of
us who are constantly arguing with them and the back and forth on some
philosophical issues are not as useful as, the posts that go something
like----" I've got this problem, how can I fix it, or etc?

Due to the fact that it seems virtually every human in the US has a cell
phone, I don't really see how they can sell a whole lot more of them,
unless, you can sell them two.

Also if you don't actually have sprint/verizon/ or whoever service, I
would agree a lot of the stuff on this forum would discourage you--but
it's really not all that bad, could it improve, yes.

It like the old Brother Dave Gardner's comment about sex--- the worst I
    ever had was wonderful" .

Sprint CSR can't post to the newsgroup from their desk - they cannot access the
internet - if they use their phone to access internet from their desk they will
be disciplined severely. Other than very early morning and very late at night
(and this isn't always true) there is no downtime between calls - -one call is
finished - another immediately is put through.

Actually the experience I've gotten from Sprint POS CS is:

    1) just like this forum: cheerleaders with the attitude that all the
*many* complaints against their company and thier last place standing
must all be due to some cosmic unfairness against Sprint POS. Tlak about
    denial.

    2) just as the studies say it is: crap in last place.

Sprint's CEO says they have a problem with CS, and yet the Sprint
employees here can't seem to grasp that.

To paraphrase a famous quote "humanity is not by default rational but
has the ability to be so on occasion" and I'd add Sprint CS apparently
has the ability to be so less often.

In all fairness, I'll bet it's not the actual reps faults. I'll bet
it's low pay, hard work, and bad corporate policy that creates too many
problems for them to solve with the shoddy and insuficient tools given
    them.

Yesterday a Sprint POS CS rep called me to ask how my "experience" was
going..... WELLL.... since they asked I told them... LOL

She was very nice. Perhaps a supervisor or just an unusually good CS
rep. She agreed and apologised with what I said and also she admitted
that Sprint CS could "definitly use improvement" which when translated
from employee speak into customer speak means "this company sucks and
    isn't competative in CS."

In that earlier article, even the CEO was answering the phones in CS in
Texas one day because he realizes how bad CS is and is hoping for some
    insight.

I'll bet Sprint middle management is in total denial or at least
somehwhat lacking. Why? Well this problem didn't happen yesterday. How
long have Sprint MM been internally promising to get it improved I
wonder? So, that's probably one reason contributing to why he had to go
    down to see for himself.

    BP:

actually what you wish for is a Mod that agrees with you and would then
probably censor me. That seems to be a compound fantasy for:

    A mod

    Agreeing with you.

Neither or which seem to be happening.

Mabey so, and thats the only reason your here is becuase no one can
censor you... Thats why you probably don't post of any moderated forums
becuase they would delete you. Your here just to annoy people by posting
the same crap over and over.. I got it the first time.. saw your point
of view.. felt your frustration and agreed with it, but yet you keep
forcing it upon us, over and over and over again..first it gets old,
then it gets annoying, especially when I cant filter you.

All you've posted is about the posting habits of others. Dumbass.

    Exactly. Thank you.

I mean people like BP seem to fail a basic IQ test: Who's the bigger
idiot: the person who posts a negative opinion or the person who claims
to be superior by posting a negative opinion of a negative opinion?

    Totally retarded.

But he wont be reamed out by his superior based on how long his calls
last, so he has no way of grasping the situation.

true. ALthough, I have to say that at least he will hear some PO'ed
customers and if he follws up on issues, he might find out about some
pandemic ones that the middle management might not pass up to him.

Either way though, they're in terrible shape now and no matter how good
the new management is, will be for months if not years at the minimum.
